     Masks is one of my favorite poems. Shel Silverstein is also my favorite author. I really like his sense of creativity. This poem says so much in eight small lines. It basically sums up how people don't really look deeper than people's outside characteristics. We're all a victim to doing this though. I think Silverstein created this poem in a great manner and expressed how people act in our society. It's also a great way of saying to be comfortable in your own skin and to just be yourself.
